Dr. Hyung Joon Park
Dr. Hyung Joon Park, often referred to as Dr. Mark, is the founder and Clinic Director of Advanced Injury & DISC Center. With over two decades of experience, he has devoted his career to helping patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries, spinal disorders, and auto accident trauma. He is especially known for his expertise in non-surgical spinal decompression therapy and auto injury care, including the treatment of whiplash and brain-related trauma.
Dr. Park holds a specialized certification in Whiplash and Brain Traumatology from the San Diego Spinal Research Institute, making him exceptionally qualified to manage complex auto injury cases involving neck, brain, and nerve-related symptoms. His clinical experience combined with this advanced training allows him to provide safe, accurate, and effective care for car accident victims.
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Park moved to the United States in 1992, driven by his lifelong passion for health and wellness. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (1997) and Doctor of Chiropractic degree (1999) from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. While there, he competed in natural bodybuilding and worked as a personal trainer, which gave him deep insight into movement science and injury recovery.
Dr. Park is the only chiropractor in the Korean community across the Southeastern U.S. who holds a specialized certification in spinal decompression protocols and research. His combined background in fitness, nutrition, chiropractic, and trauma care allows him to address everything from everyday strain to complex post-accident conditions.
